(1/4ʺ Male Pipe Thread x Male Plug) (Quick Connect x Soft Nose P.O.L.)
F276334 Quick-Connect Adapter
(Quick Connect x Soft Nose P.O.L)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: This installation is intended to be permanent
CAUTION: BE SURE CYLINDER VALVE IS CLOSED BEFORE PROCEEDING
These requirements cover quick-connect type fittings with a maximum working pressure of 250 psig. They are intended for installation and use in accordance with the LP-Gas Code, NFPA 58. Each coupling consists of a plug and a socket. The plug is intended to be connected to a flexible LP-Gas fuel line. The sockets are equipped with a check valve to prevent leakage from the gas source when the plug is disconnected from the socket.

Step 1
If the propane cylinder is connected to the grill, remove using normal procedure. Detach P.O.L. (Item B) from the cylinder valve (Item A).

Step 2
Assemble the cylinder adapter (Item D) to the cylinder valve (Item A) using a suitable 9/16-in wrench, rotating the plastic tool (Item E) in a counterclockwise direction (lefthand thread) until the plastic tool breaks. The plastic tool (Item E) must break to assure proper connection. To remove the broken portion of the plastic tool (Item E) pull back the locking sleeve on the cylinder adapter (Item D) and remove the broken portion. The socket (Item D) is intended for connection to the outlet of a cylinder valve to convert the CGA 510 or CGA 791 outlet to a CGA 810.

Step 3
Remove P.O.L. (Item B) from the inlet of the propane regulator (Item C) by turning counterclockwise; discard the fitting.

Step 4
Assemble the brass plug (Item F) to the inlet port of the propane regulator (Item C). Hand tighten by turning clockwise (right hand thread) and then use a 9/16-in wrench turning 1 to 1-1/4 turns.

Step 5
Connect the regulator plug (Item F) to the cylinder valve adapter (Item D) by retracting the adapter sleeve and inserting the regulator plug (Item F). The PN 73728 plug incorporates an excess flow valve and thermal shutoff, and is intended for connection to the PN 76280 or 76378 socket.

Step 6
LEAKAGE CHECK: Be sure the grill burner valves are in the “off” position, then open the cylinder valve (Item A).
Using soapy water, check for leakage at:
- Threaded connection of the cylinder valve adapter (Item D) at the cylinder valve outlet (Item A).
- Threaded plug connection (Item F) at inlet of regulator (Item C).
- If leakage is found, check threaded connections for tightness.
