What size propane tank can I use?

The Propane gas tank used with this device should be a vapor withdrawal type with no less than 20lb Capacity.

I cannot connect the hose assembly to the handle assembly. What am I doing wrong?

Connect the excess flow shut-off P.O.L. fitting end of the hose assembly to the valve of a LP fuel tank and tighten Counterclockwise because this is a left handed thread.

I opened the supply tank and opened the torch adjusting valve and now my torch flame is small. What is going on?

The hose assembly is supplied with an excess flow control valve. Opening the supply tank shut-off valve rapidly can cause the excess flow to restrict the flow. Close the supply tank shut-off valve and then slowly reopen the supply tank.

Are there any other restrictions I should know about?

  • When using the torch, do not allow the barrel to come closer than 6 to the surface being heated.
  • Do not use this torch to heat, mold, or bend plastic.
  • This heater is to be used for outdoor use only.
