Check to see that your propane supply tank is turned on. Listen for the sound of the spark igniter, it should make a fast ticking sound (Piezo igniter for the 35CLP so only one spark), if it doesn't replace igniter.

MH35CLP charge time is 5 hrs. MH60CLP charge time is 1battery (5hrs) 2 batteries (6hrs). MH35CLP run time is 8hrs. MH60CLP run time is 1 battery (4hrs) 2batteries (8hrs).

It is recommended that the internal battery be maintained on a constant maintenance charge by leaving it plugged into a 120V power source. If constant maintenance charging is not possible, it is recommended that the battery be fully charged every 3 months.

You need to have the correct sized tank for the heater you are using. For every 50,000 Btu output you need a minimum of a 20 to 40 pound LP tank. In below freezing weather you may need to double the size of your propane source to maintain sufficient volume of flow for correct heater operation.

There are different types of chemicals that, when drawn into the heater during its burning will react with the propane and make some disagreeable odors. The propane supplier may have added more of the orderizor to propane. First try the heater in a different area where no chemicals are used to see if the smell goes away and also try a different propane tank.

Unfortunately, no. These heaters are set up to run Propane only. There are no available conversion kits.

Usually the igniter itself needs cleaned with steel wool and readjusted. The igniter should be a 1/4in away form the orifice assembly. If this does not fix the issue, then make sure there is power going to the assembly. If so then the igniter is possibly bad or the board is bad. These heaters are outdoor only heater though they may be used in a garage setting or construction setting with proper ventilation. Standard ventilation is 1 square inch per 1000 BTUs. These heaters only have a thermocouple and high limit sensor but no ODS (Oxygen Depletion Sensor) so there is no way for the heater to know if its operating at dangerous O2 levels.
