Mr. Heater Turns Up the Heat In Brainerd, Minnesota

January 2007 ----- For the third year, Mr. Heater Inc, a subsidiary of Enerco Group Inc., was a sponsor of the Ice Fishing Extravaganza, held each year in Brainerd, Minnesota. Over 10,000 enthusiastic ice anglers braved the cold temperatures in the race to snag the biggest walleye. Sponsored by the Brainerd Jaycees, the $150,000 Ice Fishing Extravaganza has raised more than 2 million dollars for charities while attracting media attention form outlets like CNBC News, Smithsonian Magazine, and The Christian Science Monitor.

Mr. Heater sponsored the cozy Hot Spot tent, providing comfort for all attendees and event staff. On display was their full line of outdoor heating products from tank tops to indoor-safe portable propane heaters, perfect for taking the chill off during ice fishing. A food concession was also a feature of the Mr. Heater Hot Spot, staffed by a local community church.

Proceeds from the Ice Fishing Extravaganza will benefit charities like the Confidence Learning Center, an organization that provides outdoor experiences to people with developmental disabilities.
